ATTENTION: Students must be AT LEAST 16-years of age to attend any recreational class at our facility, unless otherwise specified.

Attire Policy Attire Policy

Students are required to wear boots or sneakers that cover their whole foot, jeans or long pants that cover your whole leg & ankle, and a t-shirt that covers their shoudlers.

Please do not wear flammable materials such as Nylon or Synthetics.

Please do not wear sandals, crocks, open toed shoes, shorts, or dresses.

For the safety of our students and teachers, failure to comply may result in being unable to participate in the class.

Glass Beadmaking Workshop

EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR CLASS IS INCLUDED IN PRICE

Beads, beads, & more beads! If you’re looking to express your creativity through glass & love making beads, the Rochester Arc + Flame Center’s Glass Beadmaking Workshop is the class for you! In this 8-hour program, you will learn how to light the torch, adjust the flame, & melt soft glass rods into beautiful beads. A wide range of color options and texturizing materials are available for you to experiment with. A wonderful & relaxing way to spend your day.

Our experienced instructors will use a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on instruction to enhance your learning experience. All safety equipment and glass materials are included in the course price. Great for beginners and experienced flame workers!

Note: Projects are ready for pickup 1 week after the class. Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. Please contact the Arc + Flame Center at least 72-hours prior to the event regarding any food allergies or restrictions.
