GMAW (MIG) WELDING: Gas Metal Arc Welding or Wire Feed Welding, this is a versatile welding process that is relatively easy to learn. A MIG system includes a constant voltage welding power source, a wire feeder, torch, shielding gas, gas regulator, and welding wire. It is a flexible welding process suitable for many different steel and alloy materials. MIG welding is mainly used for metal parts where it is imperative to reinforce the strength of a joint.
Our 30-hour STICK Welding Night Course provides comprehensive, in-depth training twice a week from 6:00pm-9:00pm, for a total of 10 sessions over 5 weeks. Upon completion, students will be familiar with safety protocol, equipment & equipment set up, proper welding techniques, and troubleshooting. This class is designed for beginners (zero experience is required) and for those looking to take their skills to the next level.
Our experienced instructors use a combination of lecture (25%) and hands-on practice (75%). Our facility features individual welding stations for up to 16 students.
