Students must be at least 16 years of age to participate in most courses and must have a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian prior to the start of the class.

For students ages 13 – 15 years old, please contact us at 585-349-7110 to discuss class opportunities.

Most courses are not appropriate for students ages 12 years old and younger.

Safety is our number one concern at Rochester Arc + Flame Center. Please contact us at 585-349-7110 before registering for classes., If you have any concerns pertaining to your hearing, vision, hand dexterity, or mental health, or any other disability that would impact your ability to participate in class.

  • Boots or leather shoes that cover the entire foot
  • Full length jeans that cover the entire leg and ankle (no rips or holes)
  • T-shirt (cotton or nonflammable material)

For your safety, failure to comply with this attire may result in being unable to participate in the class. Thank you for your cooperation & understanding!

  • No refunds or credits are provided to students who cancel within 48 hours of their class or who are a no call/ no show
  • 14 or more days’ notice of the class date: Option of a refund (minus a $20 processing fee) or class credit for the full amount
  • 2 – 13 days’ notice of the class date: Class credit for the full amount
  • Less than 2 days’ notice of the class date: No refund and no class credit

Glass Fusing Couples Date Night

Bring your partner out to experience one of the sweetest date nights Rochester has to offer!  Let your love guide the way & create your own designs as you cut & arrange flat glass compositions. Choose from a wide variety of colorful sheet glass, stringers, frit & powders to personalize your project which will be fired into a kiln to solidify your masterpiece.

These classes are great for a girl's night out, Mom & Daughter date night, or for kindling the chemistry with your significant other! Great for beginners and experienced artists.

All safety equipment, tools, and glass materials are included in the course price.

NOTE:

  • The cost of $225.00 covers one couple (2 people).
  • Because glass pieces must be annealed to avoid damage, projects will be ready for pickup 1-2 weeks after the class.
