Students are required to wear boots or sneakers that cover their whole foot, jeans or long pants that cover your whole leg & ankle, and a t-shirt that covers their shoudlers.

Please do not wear flammable materials such as Nylon or Synthetics.

Please do not wear sandals, crocks, open toed shoes, shorts, or dresses.

GTAW Welding Night Course (30 Hours)


GTAW, commonly known as TIG welding, can be a challenging but versatile process for joining a wide variety of metal! Our 30-hr TIG Welding Night Course provides comprehensive training twice a week from 6:00pm-9:00pm, for a total of 10 sessions (5 weeks total). Classes feature a combination of lecture and hands-on practice. Our facility features individual welding stations for up to 16 students. This class is designed for beginners (zero experience is required) and also those who need a refresher with the TIG welding process. Upon completion, students will be familiar with safety, equipment, equipment set up and proper welding techniques. This course focuses on welding steel, with two sessions of aluminum. An additional session will feature a demonstration and lecture on stainless steel. See topics covered below for more details.

  • Abrasives and metal finishing applications: products and safety

  • Students will receive their own jackets, gloves, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
  • All materials included in price.
  • Students will use Arc + Flame owned auto darkening welding helmets during the course.
