GMAW & GTAW 2-Day Welding Workshop

GMAW (MIG) WELDING: Gas Metal Arc Welding or Wire Feed Welding, this is a versatile welding process that is relatively easy to learn. A MIG system includes a constant voltage welding power source, a wire feeder, torch, shielding gas, gas regulator, and welding wire. It is a flexible welding process suitable for many different steel and alloy materials. MIG welding is mainly used for metal parts where it is imperative to reinforce the strength of a joint.

GTAW (TIG) WELDING: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, this is a welding process that utilizes a non-consumable Tungsten electrode to create an electric arc. TIG Welding is capable of precise, high-quality welds. This can be a challenging but versatile process for joining a wide variety of metal.

Covering both MIG & TIG Welding, our experienced instructors will review safety protocol on Saturday leaving the rest of the time to cover both welding techniques. Using a combination of lecture (30%) and hands-on training (70%), this 2-day workshop will give students the knowledge and confidence needed to start experimenting and working with both metal joining processes.

Our modern facility boasts 16 welding stations so each student can work independently. All equipment is well-maintained, state-of-the-art, and easy to operate. All safety equipment, tools, and welding materials are included in the price.
