Students must be at least 16 years of age to participate in most courses and must have a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian prior to the start of the class.

For students ages 13 – 15 years old, please contact us at 585-349-7110 to discuss class opportunities.

Most courses are not appropriate for students ages 12 years old and younger.

  • Boots or leather shoes that cover the entire foot
  • Full length jeans that cover the entire leg and ankle (no rips or holes)
  • T-shirt (cotton or nonflammable material)

  • No refunds or credits are provided to students who cancel within 48 hours of their class or who are a no call/ no show
  • 14 or more days’ notice of the class date: Option of a refund (minus a $20 processing fee) or class credit for the full amount
  • 2 – 13 days’ notice of the class date: Class credit for the full amount
  • Less than 2 days’ notice of the class date: No refund and no class credit

GTAW Welding Night Course (30 Hours)

GTAW (TIG) WELDING: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, this is a welding process that utilizes a non-consumable Tungsten electrode to create an electric arc. TIG Welding is capable of precise, high-quality welds. This can be a challenging but versatile process for joining a wide variety of metal.

Our 30-hour TIG Welding Night Course provides comprehensive, in-depth training twice a week from 6:00pm-9:00pm, for a total of 10 sessions over 5 weeks. This course focuses on welding steel, with two sessions of aluminum, and one session on stainless steel. Upon completion, students will be familiar with safety protocol, equipment & equipment set up, and proper welding techniques. This class is designed for beginners (zero experience is required) and for those who need a refresher with the TIG Welding process.

Our experienced instructors use a combination of lecture (25%) and hands-on practice (75%).

All safety equipment, tools, and materials are included in the course fee.
