Students must be at least 16 years of age to participate in most courses and must have a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian prior to the start of the class.

Most courses are not appropriate for students ages 12 years old and younger.

Glass Beadmaking Specialty Sampler

EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR CLASS IS INCLUDED IN PRICE

The Rochester Arc + Flame Center’s Specialty Sampler allows beadmakers to take their craft to the next level. Using soft glass and flame, students will stretch, gather, cut, & fuse soft glass rods into specific bead designs. Referencing the season, you will refine your skills to create and detail cute characters and objects such as summertime fruits, spooky ghosts, or loveable hearts. Please check the class date to know the project for the day. This class is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced flame workers.

Our instructors will use a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on
instruction to enhance your learning experience. All safety equipment and glass
materials are included in the course price.

Note: Because glass pieces must be annealed to avoid damage, class projects
will be ready for pickup within 1 week after the class.
