









Glass Flameworking Night Course Level 1 | September 1 - 24| Tuesdays & Thursdays | 6:00pm - 9:00pm

This 4-week beginner night course provides a solid introduction to borosilicate (boro) glassworking. You’ll learn essential torchworking skills including cutting and fusing glass, controlling diameter, building and maintaining a gather, and using a punty. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on instruction, you’ll create a variety of projects, progressing from simple forms like teardrops and hearts to more advanced pieces such as fish and hummingbirds.
Upon successful completion, students may continue into Level 2 or work independently during our open torch hours.
Note:
- Glass pieces must be annealed, so projects will be available for pickup at the next class session.
- This is a 4-week course held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6PM - 9PM. Students are expected to attend the full session.
- All tools, safety equipment, and glass materials are included.
