ATTENTION: Students must be AT LEAST 16-years of age to attend any recreational class at our facility, unless otherwise specified.

Attire Policy Attire Policy

Students are required to wear boots or sneakers that cover their whole foot, jeans or long pants that cover your whole leg & ankle, and a t-shirt that covers their shoudlers.

Please do not wear flammable materials such as Nylon or Synthetics.

Please do not wear sandals, crocks, open toed shoes, shorts, or dresses.

For the safety of our students and teachers, failure to comply may result in being unable to participate in the class.

Glass Flameworking Workshop

EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR CLASS IS INCLUDED IN PRICE

The Rochester Arc + Flame Center’s Glass Flame Workshop is the perfect
class to express your creativity through glass art. Working with borosilicate
glass and flame, you will learn skills such as lighting the torch, adjusting
the flame, stretching, gathering, cutting, & fusing boro glass rods into beautiful
designs. A wide range of color options are available for you to experiment
with. Each student can make up to 5 glass pieces including a tear drop, heart,
& leaf.

Our experienced instructors will use a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on instruction to enhance your learning experience. All safety equipment and glass materials are included in the course price. This class is great for beginners and experienced flame workers!

NOTE:

Because glass peices must anneal to avoid damage, class projects will be ready for pickup within 1 week after the class.
Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. Please contact the Arc + Flame Center at least 72-hours prior to the event regarding any food allergies or restrictions.
