Kevin J Adair, CWI, NDE Level III: RocAFC Welding Director:  Kevin has been a Certified Welding Inspector since 1994. As owner of Independent Quality Services, he has worked on a broad range of projects in the public, private, government and military sectors. Kevin has been involved in the training and qualification of professional welders, fabricators and inspection personal for over 15 years. He and his wife Tami live in Williamson, NY with their son Cody. Some of Kevin's hobbies include hunting, fishing, and music. Kevin can be contacted at: welding@rocafc.com

Richard Belair:  Richard has spent his entire career in the welding industry. After studying welding in high school, Richard went to work as a welder at the Pfaudler Company. He then joined Eastman Kodak as a welder. Richard is a Certified Welding Inspector, and before joining Mahany as an Instructor, taught night classes at the We-Mo-Co Vocational Center. His specialties are the SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes. Richard is an avid sportsman, and enjoys woodworking. 

Michael Cherre:  Michael is a graduate of the RocAFC Welding & Fabrication Certificate Program who now instructs classes. Michael teaches Boy Scout Workshops, Weekend Workshops and Weekly Night Courses.

Kate Cosden:  Kate studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology/School for American Crafts where she earned her BFA from the Metals and Jewelry department. She was raised in the suburbs of the Baltimore/DC area and spent her summers in Cape Cod, which nurtured her artistic inclinations. During a her undergraduate studies Kate spent several months working in London for a fashion company, which spurred her to pursue jewelry when she returned stateside. She enjoys working with many materials and draws her inspiration from nature, urban decay, and human relationships. She teaches classes on techniques ranging from jewelry to welded sculpture. She has exhibited her work in galleries across the country and she has been recognized by the Society of North American Goldsmiths and the Women Jeweler's Association. In her spare time, she enjoys gourmet cooking, hiking, and speaking in the
 third person. 

Karen Eckstrom:  Karen is a full time TIG welder at Advantech industries. She currently assists with classes at RocAFC and aspires to be a full time instructor. 

Andrew Krupnicki:  Andrew joined the welding industry in 2006 as a Sales Associate for Mahany Welding Supply. Since then, he has honed his skills as a welder and an Assistant Instructor. He is fluent in Spanish and French, enjoys physical fitness, creating Metal Sculpture, and is a published author! Andrew earned his Bachelors Degree Suma Cum Laude from Oswego State College in 2011. 

Michael Krupnicki: RocAFC Executive Director:  Michael has been in the welding industry since 1982. He is the Executive Director of RocAFC and President of Mahany Welding Supply. Over the course of his career, Michael has participated as a student in countless welding related training seminars, and has held leadership positions with industry associations including the American Welding Society and Association of Independent Welding Distributors. He is a published author, and Mahany has been featured in 7 national publications since 2001. He was the driving force behind Mahany Welding Supply developing welder training programs, and in addition to developing course curriculum, has been an active instructor at Mahany. Michael earned his MBA phi kappa phi from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1999. 

Willie Shoemaker:  Willie has been involved in the welding industry since 1992. A veteran of the Rochester sheet metal industry, he worked as both a welder and weld shop supervisor at several local companies. He joined Mahany Welding Supply in 2005 as a Sales Representative. In addition to serving Mahany customers, Willie has taught numerous welding classes and clinics, where his many years "under the helmet" has benefited his students. In his free time, Willie enjoys spending time with family and friends, and golfing.
