Basic Line - As it sounds we'll create a line on sheet but we'll play with variations that include the number of folds, the style of folds and the way different folds interact to make dynamic and intriguing pieces. By allowing the metal to do what it wants changes can be made very rapidly. You will be amazed at the speed with which you can create three dimensional forms from a single sheet.

Time permitting students will have the opportunity to turn their created elements into either ear rings or a pendant.

Fold Forming - This is about following what the metal likes to do, rather than forcing a specific form upon it. The concept was developed by Charles Lewton-Brain as a result of his time spent with Klaus Ulrich in Germany. This new system emphasizes creating forms by using the metals own characteristics to achieve naturally beautiful elements rapidly.
