Student Health Agreement:

Our programs are designed to be as inclusive as possible. However, if you have concerns with your physical or mental health, cognitive processing, vision, hearing, or hand dexterity PLEASE contact us at 585-349-7110 or email info@rocafc.com before signing up! Blacksmithing, welding and glass classes are physically demanding and involve intense heat from the forge, furnace, kiln, or torch. We want to ensure a satisfactory and SAFE experience for you, and all students and faculty. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

 

Class Refund Policy:

Please note, it is your responsibility as a customer/student to record the date and time of the class you purchase. Arc + Flame Center will not be responsible if the student does not show up to the class you purchased. If a student needs to cancel a class, please note that all cash refunds will be subjected to a $20 processing fee. Cash refunds are only available with at least 14 days notice from class date.

Class Cancellation Policy Options:

  • At least 14 days notice= Option of cash refund (with a $20 processing fee) or class credit
  • Between 13 days and 48 hours notice= Class credit
  • Less than 48 hours notice= No refund and no class credit

If Arc + Flame Center cancels a class, the student will have the option of receiving class credit or a cash refund. There will not be a processing fee for cash refunds if Arc + Flame Center cancels the class for any reason (ie: weather related, low enrollment, facility related).

Student Age Agreement:

Students must be AT LEAST 16-years of age to attend class unless otherwise noted (ie: Fusing Tike, Teen and Creative Kids Classes) OR approval from Department Director. 

Any student under the age of 18 must print this waiver (CLICK HERE) and have a parent or guardian complete the waiver. The student must submit the completed waiver to their instructor on the first day of class.
For Blacksmithing Classes: Students under the age of 16 MUST contact Arc + Flame Blacksmithing Director (Candace Martens) for an evaluation prior to enrolling in a smithing class. Candace can be reached at blacksmithing@rocafc.com or 585-617-9644.

 

GIFT CARDS:

Gift Cards must be redeemed by calling 585-349-7110. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed online.

We understand often the person purchasing the class is different than who will be attending the class. Did you order a GIFT CARD? Exceptions are only for APPROVED youth students evaluated by our Blacksmithing Director, or Glass Fusing Creative Kids, Glass Fusing family classes. Students must be at least 16 years of age for all other classes.


"Yes, I confirm that the student who is taking this class does NOT have any concerns with their cognitive processing, vision, hearing, hand dexterity, mental or physical health that would pose a safety hazard to themselves or other students or faculty. IF I have concerns, I certify I have contacted Arc + Flame management to receive approval in registering for this course."
