If you’ve ever wanted to express your creativity in glass, Arc + Flame’s signature Glass Flameworking Sculpture Workshop is the class for you. In this 8 hour program, you will learn skills such as: how to light the torch, adjust the flame, stretch, gather, cut and fuse borosilicate (boro) glass rod and make colored cane. You will be amazed at the quality of the projects you will complete on your very first day. Students can expect to make at least 5 projects and no experience is necessary! Arc + Flame will provide you with first-class instruction, brand new equipment, a remarkable variety of boro glass rod and the inspiration for you to release your inner fire. The Arc + Flame Glass Flameworking Sculpture Workshop is an experience for locals and out-of-towners alike.
Arc + Flame’s flame shop is a welcoming, relaxing environment that will put you in the mood to create. Peruse our library of glass journals, or just admire the glass art on display in our gallery. Enjoy a day with a friend or family member. But be warned: glass flameworking can be addicting.
