Glass Flameworking: Sculpture (Boro Glass) Workshop
If you’ve ever wanted to express your creativity in glass, Arc + Flame’s signature Glass Flameworking Sculpture Workshop is the class for you. No experience is necessary! In this 8 hour program, you will learn skills such as: how to light the torch, adjust the flame, stretch, gather, cut and fuse borosilicate (boro) glass rod and make colored cane. Students can expect to make at least 5 projects! The Arc + Flame Glass Flameworking Sculpture Workshop is an experience for locals and out-of-towners alike.
Please note, projects will be ready for pickup 1-week after class. Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions.

NOTE: Our programs are designed to be as inclusive as possible. Students must be AT LEAST 16-years of age to attend class unless otherwise noted (ie: Fusing Tike, Teen and Creative Kids Classes) OR approval from Department Director.
Please make sure to wear close-toed sneakers or boots, jeans and a cotton t-shirt. Do NOT wear flip-flops, open toed shoes, shorts, skirts, or highly flammable clothing.
