Blacksmithing Night Course

$350.00

RocAFC Blacksmithing Night Classes are an excellent way to learn and explore blacksmithing.  Our night classes run on weeknight evenings from 6-9 for 2 to 6 consecutive weeks.  Our experienced instructors will use a combination of lecture, demonstration and hands-on instruction at the forge to enhance your learning experience.  No prior experience is needed, but those who have had prior blacksmithing training are welcome.

Night classes focus on the fundamentals but then take you beyond to the next step.  The goal is to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to begin exploring.  Student projects will be used to reinforce the various information and techniques that are being covered.  Take home projects include hooks, various twist samples, a forge welded trivet, scrolling jigs, tongs and various chisels and punches.  Returning students can email project ideas to the instructor for pre-approval.
