Classes: Welding

The Rochester Arc and Flame Center features a welding training lab designed by the owner of Mahany Welding Supply. Mahany has educated several thousand students since it began welder training programs in 2002. The RocAFC facility features:

• 16 individual welding booths
• State-of-the-art fume ventilation system
• New Miller GMAW, GTAW, SMAW welders and plasma cutters
• CNC plasma table, iron worker, band saw, and an abrasive chop saw
• Large supply of small tools, such as grinders, clamps, and measuring tools
• Spacious area for fabrication of larger projects

Student discounts will also be available on a wide selection of steel, alloys, safety equipment, welding equipment and other supplies at partner company Mahany Welding Supply. RocAFC offers programs for beginners and professionals. A Certified Welding Inspector is available for procedure development and Welder Qualification Testing. We also offers programs in glass and blacksmithing. Our skilled instructors are dedicated to providing you with the best possible experience here at RocAFC.
